Perth Nike Store Launch

Le Fanciulle (24 of 25).jpg

Attention Nike-lovers of Perth: get yourself down to Hay Street and check out the new Nike store which opens officially today.  If you can wait a month, then go to Carousel which will also be housing one of the brand's spanking new stores full of sportswear, street wear, and shoes.  Last night's Perthonality-filled VIP affair (I cringe at the word, but I kid you not, the organisers literally had a file complete with pictures & bios - sweet!) was a success, with special guests including WA's sporting icons Luc Longley and everyone's favourite Nic Naitanui, who was coerced into dancing Gangnam-style for the crowd.  As you can see, S was replaced by Simon, who had an absolute ball of a time.  Pun intended.

Unfortunately, still no sign of NIKEid in Australia so you'll have to save your pennies for those overseas trips.  But whilst we wait, you can now have instant access to more Dunks/AirMaxes/Free Runs than your bank account will allow!  See the pics below for a taste of what's in store.

Big thanks to Rachel at Two Birds Talking PR for letting us be part of the fun!  I will be taking my tights out for a spin tomorrow morning to work on my Vanessa-Hudgens-esque calves.  Also, S & I are toying with the idea of doing the City to Surf this year for fundraising - your ideas are welcome as to who we should support!

    1. Thanks Peta! I love sneakers in general and owning a pair of dunks has been on my list for ages - they are so very versatile! They do come in monochrome so you could always start there :)

Lovely to see you, shame it was too loud to talk properly!
