An amazing dive spot with so much biodiversity.
Yes that's a shark.

Who needs boring outfit photos when you have the whole sea to explore?

Simon & I traipsed over to Bali for a quick and tropical honeymoon after conference-ing it up in Sydney.  And for the first time in ages I didn't come home with four thousand photos to edit.  But I still took just enough to re-live the super chilled time away.  I love a good relaxing blog post, and I hope you do too!

Simon & I have been doing a lot more diving and snorkelling this year (for those of you who aren't Australian you'd think we'd be crazy for not making the most of our amazing coastline all our lives!). It's a good head-clearing experience with the salty cold water filling your ears and stinging your eyes, and the ocean makes me feel so vulnerable because of its vastness.  It's also horribly dangerous but beautiful at the same time, and for me it definitely makes "fashion" seem so small, which I guess is why this blog is heading away from that direction towards more of what our actual lives involve.

That means more diving photos and house-planning montages from me.
Gotta stay distracted when we're away from work somehow.

There's this bit in the Brady Bunch Movie (don't you dare say you haven't seen it) where Greg leans against a car and says why hey there you groovy chick, you're really happenin' in a far out way.  And he does the EXACT pose from the photo above.  You see, I thought I'd better learn some smooth moves if a wedding is looming... Never to late to become a cool dude, right?  Better late than never?  Can you tell this post is possibly shrouded in sleep deprived delirium?

Being the mini person that I am, I've always steered away from large handbags (much to the disappointment of my mother, as my aversion is also coupled with a knack of leaving my belongings in public places).  However, bulging pockets no more!  Look at how much I can walk and jump around unhindered by my belongings!  Where have you been all my life, Alexander Wang bum bag?  Form and function are finally together and so... functional?  1.  It holds up my pants so I don't need a belt.  2. It holds an iPhone, keys, coins, and rogue bits of paper.  The only downsize would be that it doesn't hold nearly enough treats to keep me from being hangry on another one of our tile shop expeditions, but you can't have everything.

If I haven't already convinced you, head to Net-A-Porter, where they have made a new category called "belt bags".  Lots of leather offerings too; none of that nylon - I didn't want to take the Asian tourist look too far.

I smell a Trish-approved trend.

Wedding: Favourites

0890

Given that it's now just past eleven weeks of married life and Hello May featured our wedding, I can finally break the radio silence, go troppo, and make a blog post with some of the photos from the B.I.G. day!

The full HM post is here, but after the jump are just a few of my favourite photos from the day, taken by the glorious Natasja Kremers.

Enjoy!
