Restyle: Ombre Dress

If all else fails in my attempt to acquire a good dress for the medical ball, this will be my back-up.
Just kidding, it's a curtain.

DIY Details
I wasn't joking - this ombre dress was once a lace curtain which I sewed into a tube and painted.  The lining underneath the lace was also hand-painted to make the ombre effect more obvious.  Next time (if there is a next time) I'll try dyeing the fabric instead - the paint, whilst so easy to apply and heavily pigmented, majorly reduces the movement of the fabric.
