Restyle: Starry Eyed

It's the first day of Restyle, and we have lots of posts in store for this month.  Think op shopping + DIYs + a billion photos.

These jeans are possibly my favourite item from our Restyle project.  Hence why there are so many photos in this post ;)

DIY Details
Op shopped Witchery jeans, revived with a few (haha ok, more than a few) hand-stencilled stars using silvery blue paint mixed with fabric medium, inspired by Current Elliot.  Maybe a starry jacket is next...

This spliced jacket began as a long-sleeved khaki jacket - quite wearable but boring - & had what I like to call a "sleeve transplant."  I cut off the khaki sleeves & sewed the sleeves from my denim vest (that you'll see in a future post) onto the khaki jacket.  Et voila, a sleeve transplant jacket.

  12. I cannot believe that two bloggers (from what I've read so far) doing the restyle challenge have found great, well-fitting jeans!!! I started my own 6 month op shop challenge in July, and I can't find any!! I'll just have to keep looking I suppose :) This is an awesome, awesome outfit! Rhi xx

  13. Dude Steph and Trish!

I was in Good Sammys Freo buying up big on the $1 rack (got a plein sud skirt for my mum...read it and weep!) and picked up a flyer advertising you guys and your 30 days of restyle. Fame!

Love what you've done to the jeans-I have those EXACT jeans and they've only been worn once. Maybe I should do something to them...

Anyway junior doctors to be...go study! Cos that's what I'm doing o_O.
