Local: The Flour Shop

The Flour Shop is what happened when two local girls wanted to combine the very best things in life... cake & flowers.
As an end-of-birthday-week gift, I ordered a bunch this weekend for my motherbear and oh boy it was gorgeous.  Almost like it had been picked straight from someone's blooming garden, with just the right amount of structure.

The only regret?  I should have ordered a cake too.

Travel: Scandi Blooms

Scandinavia was heaven for a flower child like me & PX was super patient when I stopped every 20m to take a photo, ha!  Lucky me.  Enjoy these photos of beautiful creation that, really, is everywhere, but we notice more when we're away from home.

Travel: Copenhagen Hood

PX & I have always placed a lot of importance on our travel accomodation & we (him more, me less) do quite a bit of searching for the right place in the cities we visit, regardless of the duration. Not that this means five star hotels... In fact, it usually means not five star hotels at all. Our first residence was a tiny student apartment in Vesterbro, Copenhagen and it could not be more perfect slash scandi cool. A home away from home is the aim & this one set the bar quite high!
