It was hot and yucky on our last (and only) holiday crafternoon day, but S managed to keep herself on-trend whilst I sat around in pyjamas.
Haven't you heard?
Tangerine is IN.
Lucky for S, she has managed to accrue quite a few orange-hued pieces, which added some pops of colour to her summery blue ensemble. The easiest way to incorporate new colours into your wardrobe is by gently easing it in - do this with accessories and nail-polish to check if the colour is right for you before taking the plunge with investment pieces.
Here's S's outfit:
Simple neutral coloured shoes?
Nay! A tangerine-party at the back!
Teamed with a (messy) fish-tail braid...
... and a strut and a pout to match! (S: Oh my gosh I look positively ridiculous!)
nice bracelet ;)

Ahhh! When you said the color of the month was tangerine my first word association thought was DREAM! So I lol'd! At seeing this post name! I love tangerine, and I looks great with the chambray colors, I just brought an orange knit today, which I will be referring to as TANGY TANGELLO! Love the post and the color of the month is simply delicious!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy Tangerine is 2012's Colour of the Year! S, you look like you were plucked out of the J Crew catalogue! Lovely! x
ReplyDeleteS, you look so fresh and summery! I love that pale tangerine colour, it reminds me of gelato :) I love this nude-and-neon colours trend, it's so delightfully clean and pretty! xx tess
