メリークリスマス!

Hope you all had a blessed Christmas filled with much love & thanksgiving!  Simon & I are definitely making use of the ample festive-themed delights here in Tokyo, and had a stunner of a Christmas abroad - albeit, the only downside was it was lacking family & friends on the actual day!

Nonetheless, that hasn't stopped us from having a ball of a time over here in Tokyo.  I'm a couple of days behind in terms of photos, but will trickle out the posts for your prolonged enjoyment.

First up are our day 1 adventures during which you would know, if you follow my Instagram, Simon & I got our hair done at Assort hair salon.  Thanks to Miki our head stylist & the constant pampering from Yuki, Yumi, & co., we managed to whittle away 6 hours whilst waiting to check into our hotel.  Quite the effective way to burn time!

Dinner involved lurking around the food-basement ("depachika") of Mitsukoshi department store for a selection of tasty treats, which we whisked back to the hotel to pig out on.  Personally, my favourite way to feast in Japan.

It's probably not so great our hotel doesn't have a gym...

See you tomorrow for day two!

xx T
