Black & Ruby

I really really need a flower-brooch intervention.
I mean, I'd hate to be added to the list of people who are known by their obsession with wearing something, like "the guy with the hat" & "the Alannah Hill girl"* & plenty of other characters I've come to know.

*On that note, what is it with "Alannah Hill girls" and wearing solely Alannah Hill? Is it, like, a secret cult or something?  CAN I JOIN??

See my double-wrapped belt?  It is the one and only hand-me-down I've ever received from my brother!!  He doesn't even know where he got it from, but now it's all miiiine :)

    I really like this outfit, and the flower is totally cute!

    The shoes, however, are the best part of this outfit and completely amazing. I am becoming obsessed with glittery shoes, and will have to try this DIY trick soon!

    P.S I would love to be one of those 'Alannah Hill' girls... but I can't afford it!

    Lovely outfit! Nothing wrong with being obsessed with wearing something, so long as it looks good haha. Some people would call it 'branding' lol. I mean Karl Lagerfeld is known for his pony tail/sunglasses and Anna Wintour known for her bobcut :)

    There's also a character called "Nucky Johnson", a political boss in 1920s USA, who he never failed to wear a red flower on his left lapel.

    haha i used to be an "alannah hill girl", but mostly cos i worked there for 1.5 yrs. the secret is that all the girls who work there get lots of gift vouchers, so really their alannah hill wardorbes are full of free clothes! plus they make it so that everything goes with everything
