Attention Nike-lovers of Perth: get yourself down to Hay Street and check out the new Nike store which opens officially today. If you can wait a month, then go to Carousel which will also be housing one of the brand's spanking new stores full of sportswear, street wear, and shoes. Last night's Perthonality-filled VIP affair (I cringe at the word, but I kid you not, the organisers literally had a file complete with pictures & bios - sweet!) was a success, with special guests including WA's sporting icons Luc Longley and everyone's favourite Nic Naitanui, who was coerced into dancing Gangnam-style for the crowd. As you can see, S was replaced by Simon, who had an absolute ball of a time. Pun intended.
Unfortunately, still no sign of NIKEid in Australia so you'll have to save your pennies for those overseas trips. But whilst we wait, you can now have instant access to more Dunks/AirMaxes/Free Runs than your bank account will allow! See the pics below for a taste of what's in store.

1. Baby b-ball + new running tights! (2nd sale the store made - ohhhyeahhhh)
2,4,6, 16,17. Free Runs galore
3. Classic Nike store fittings
5. One for the babies
8. One for the boys
9. Dri-Fit: my favourite sportswear material
10,11. Airmax to the max
12. These babies. On my wishlist.
13,14. Nic Naitanui talking about his massive Nike shoe collection (thankfully for Elle, not as bad as Imelda Marcos)
15. My beloved Dunk Sky Hi's now come in all-black & all white!!
18,19. Simon & 2.18m of Luc Longley
20. Wearing my Nike Dunk Sky Hi's, Zara skirt, Saba breton & Witchery vest
Big thanks to Rachel at
Two Birds Talking PR for letting us be part of the fun! I will be taking my tights out for a spin tomorrow morning to work on my Vanessa-Hudgens-esque calves. Also, S & I are toying with the idea of doing the City to Surf this year for fundraising - your ideas are welcome as to who we should support!
