Totally impractical, I know, seeing as we are going into Spring & Summer here in Perth... (do you hear that weather? Stop drizzling and warm up!) But I have been noticing a lot of DIY suiting recently on some of my favourite blogs & even an article in the latest Shop Til You Drop magazine.
Now what exactly is "DIY suiting" you ask?
(T just googled this and found nothing)
We interpret it as taking semi-tailored and maybe even casual elements (tops, bottoms, etc) in the same (or similar) colour, and wearing them together in a matched fashion. Similar to that of a matching suit jacket and pants/skirt combo. Voilà! Too easy!
Now to find the perfect kind of mismatching suit elements! Is this a look you'd try? I'm keen to try white-on-white, but fear I might look like a middle-aged woman going yachting...
