Neon Manicure

A long year of clean nail polish-less nails has taken its toll and since exams ended, I have been rebelling like a ninja. (Oh what a rebel, I know.)

These neon polishes were found - believe it or not - half way between Perth & Merredin in a small roadhouse bargain bin!!  Trust me to manage to shop even in the wilderness, thanks to the funding (6 hefty dollars) of my lovely sister-to-be!

Masking tape: manicures for the poor! ;)

It actually turned out SO SPLODGEY and I'm keen to try again using proper manicure stickers to do the tips.  Any recommendations brand-wise?

Also, maybe I'll try to avoid having red tips next time... the murder accusations were a bit much to handle ;)

  2. maybe use a more plasticky tape, like scotch tape? i think masking tape because its papery - the nail polish seeps through much easier. although sometimes i use those stickers you normally use for labelling stuff, and they work a treat ;)

  5. Im following, thanks for your comment! HOT TIP: use those stationary stickers that are circular and are used to put around punched holes.. you know the ones? theyre perfect! on your larger fingers (esp thumb) just cut the stickers circular edge a bit flatter! Good luck!x

  7. i use plastic scotch tape and it works wonders, you'll just need few tries and you will be able to do incredibly fun manicures (just a quick google image search will show hundreds!) =)
