DIY Sleeveless Silk Top

With my mother-dear being the Queen of Op shopping (aka thrifting), we managed to visit the op shop in about every Tasmanian town we came across.  One little score was this huge silk shirt... I am not one to pass up anything silk in a good shade!

Problem
How to rejuvenate a shirt that was far too big + had grandma sleeves + a daggy flowery collar?

Answer
1. Cut off the sleeves...
2. Cut off the collar...
3. Wear it back to front!

I hope you're inspired to make the chop with any daggy old shirts you find.
The key to op shopping is definitely a vivid imagination!

  1. that's so cool how you saw potential in something that was originally a little, perhaps, daggy. It looks great, well done! :)
