2012 Perth Fashion Festival Launch

Perth Fashion Festival is imminent folks.  Hold onto your seats.
We were thrilled to attend the PFF Festival Launch today & got a little sneak peak into what is in store for Perth during September!

EHRMAGERDDD SER ERXCERTINGGG!
FASHERRRNNN!
(please go and educate yourself on internet memes if you don't get that)

It was quite a fancy affair, held in WA's brand new State Theatre Centre.  We ate fruit kebabs & other nibblies, mingled with some seriously stylish Perthians & sipped on champagne tea... because returning to hospital post-champagne was really not a great idea.

The launch began with an impressive parade of models clad in layered, bright outfits, styled by Tegan Sewell.  The hair, styled by Brad Ngata, was equally as stunning & I have not stopped dreaming about that bleached bob with green dip dyed ends.  Holiday hair project, perhaps?

The models posed on the stair well whilst Mariella Harvey-Hanrahan introduced the festival calendar, making us wish life would pause for a week so we could attend every single thing!!

Some cool events to look out for are An Evening with Flannel, Student Runway, Restyle Runway (of course), & plenty of local designer shows.

We had heaps of fun famous-people-naming at the launch, spotting Poppy LissimanBrad Ngata (who put on a good show with the hair spray below!), Ebony Harding (designer of Little Gracie) and, well, I'll stop rambling.

The designs on show were a sample of the local designs that will be shown during the festival, including Zhivago, Ae'lkemi, One Fell Swoop, Little Gracie & others.

And how could we not show you photos of the fashionable crowd?

Some crazy boots with a transparent heel and... is that the back of a Ebony Harding's head? haha!

We also bumped into some gorgeous Restyle redheads!
Lisa from Hugsized, L from Peanut Moonbeam Knickers & Ally from The Vintage Valley.

And last, but clearly not least as we are just so beyond cool, us.  (i'm kidding, settle gretel)
Zoooming back to hospital (S) & zooming home for a nap before nightshift (T).
