Restyle: Zippy

IMG_0985.jpg

This outfit is strongly inspired by Sara, the girl behind one of our favourite blogs Harper & Harley, who manages to pull off both turtle necks & zipper skirts, sometimes simultaneously.

DIY Details
Does turning a centre zip skirt sideways count as a DIY?  If it does, then I believe we deserve the easiest DIY award of the year.
These Carven-inspired bow sling-backs are a project I've been wanting to do for ages, so when I finally found the appropriate base-shoes, I created a silk bow that can be tied on & off very simply!

Can't find an op shopped zip skirt?  We're banned from buying new things, but you're not! Try this, this & this one, all under $50.

  2. This skirt is actually completely fabulous! I love a good oversized zip in a skirt, or a dress, or a jumper... you get the point!
