Restyle: Silk Overhaul

Happy Saturday!  Also known as rampage-around-a-billion-opshops-day :D

T lent me her Marcs bag to brighten up this simple (& gloomy) outfit.  It probably cost more than the rest of the outfit put together... that's the beauty of op shopping for you ;)

DIY Details
This blazer is reminiscent of Zara's minimalist collar-less blazers (e.g. here), so can you believe it actually began as a shoulder padded monstrosity?  The beautiful silk material is the only reason I bought it really, but after removing the huge lapels, shoulder pads & collar, then stitching the edges it inwards, it's quite a nice blazer!
These ankle cuffs are Celine-inspired & easily made from an op shopped wide leather belt & a stud-making kit from Spotlight.  There was a lot of hammering involved...

    1. Don't be sillyyyy. Anyone has super long legs when they were super high heels! I think thinner cuffs might be an idea for shorter people as well, I'll have to have a go at making some :)
